I have a deep respect and gratitude for all members of the United States Armed Forces. The service, duty, and sacrifice that these brave men and women give is amazing to me. The strength of their families goes beyond what I could imagine as they go without family members at home for long periods of time during deployment or with frequent moves around the world. Anytime I have an opportunity to say "thank you", I am eager to participate. And when coffee is involved, it is a no-brainer.
Dunkin' Donuts has partnered with the USO for one piping hot promotion! For every 2 lbs of coffee you buy online or in their stores through November 14, 2010, they will give 1 lb to the troops! The USO will distribute the free coffee in care packages, welcome home events for the troops, military bases, and other events. There are a variety of coffee flavors to choose from - Original Blend, Dunkin' Decaf, French Vanilla, Dunkin' Dark, and Hazelnut. Certainly there is a flavor that will satisfy all taste buds and will help fuel the troops, too. That is a win-win!
Also, don't forget that today is Election Day - a patriotic day where the great citizens of the United States get to make their independent voices heard! So, go vote and then pick up your Dunkin' Donuts coffee!
