It is a favorite pastime of many Americans. You enter the dark halls and walk the steps to find the perfect seat. As you place a bucket of popcorn on your lap and sip a soda that is bigger than your bladder, the previews begin and so does the magic.
I love going to the movies.
If you are looking for a flick to check out this weekend, there are many options available to you. Here are some movie choices according to how you are feeling.
Feeling like a laugh? Check out The Change-Up which opened today. This movie stars Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman - two very funny actors. The two characters are opposite - one is a married father of three, the other a playboy. When they switch bodies after a night of partying, they must figure out how to live each other's lives and get back to their own.
Feeling like rocking? The Perfect Age of Rock 'n' Roll is the story of a rocker who has to cope with the dismal response of a failed sophomore album. Returning to his roots, he re-connects with a long time friend and together they prepare for a comeback. Movie stars Kevin Zegers, Jason Ritter, and Peter Fonda.
Feeling nostalgic? Today was the release of Rise of the Apes in theaters. This movie was developed as a prequel to the original Planet of the Apes movies explaining the apes genetically engineered origins. Do you think this would be too scary for the kids? There is always The Smurfs which is currently playing, too. Either way, both will take the movie go-er back in the day.
