Designer Doors was started in 1984 by Ronald Seidle, Sr. who had a lifelong interest in woodworking. He was joined by his sons, Ronald Seidle, Jr, and Robert Seidle, in 1987, and 1988. Over the last 21 years, Designer Doors, has grown to over 25,000 square feet of production, warehouse, and office space, with 30 employees. Ronald Seidle, Jr, and Robert Seidle, purchased the business from their father in 1999, and their father died in 2004. He had the good fortune to do something that he enjoyed in his life, and he will be greatly missed. So with a current 35 years combined in the door and hardware business, the owners of Designer Doors, want you to know that they know their products very well, and have been training a staff of salespeople that are also very knowledgeable in both doors and hardware. We manufacture our own line of hardwood interior doors, as well as distributing products from other companies, such as exterior doors, door hardware, and other related hardware. We started moving our sales to the internet in 1998, and moved 99% of our sales to the internet by 2000. The goal of Designer Doors, is to sell only high quality building products, that we would personally be proud of in our own homes. We will moving into more exciting new products for your home, within the next year. As the home centers take over the marketplace, and drive many of the independent lumberyards out of business, the variety of products decrease in the marketplace, and the consumer can not find what they need anymore.
